Angels Planet School in Khalwa, Khandwa, seeks a dedicated PGT Physics Teacher to inspire and guide high school students through advanced physics concepts. This role involves shaping young minds with a strong foundation in theoretical and practical physics, aligning with modern curriculum standards.
The selected candidate will design and deliver engaging physics lessons across Class 11 and 12, ensuring clarity and depth in topics like mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, and modern physics. You will also prepare comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and supplementary resources to reinforce learning outcomes. Collaboration with the science department will be essential to integrate interdisciplinary approaches, such as physics applications in technology and environmental science. Regular classroom observations and feedback sessions will help refine teaching methods to meet student needs effectively.
You will supervise lab practicals, ensuring safety protocols are followed while fostering hands-on learning through experiments. Participation in school events, such as science fairs and competitions, will help promote curiosity and critical thinking among students. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and coordinating with parents through regular interactions will be part of your responsibilities.
Engaging with the broader educational community, including sharing innovative teaching techniques with peers, will be encouraged. You will also assist in organizing extracurricular activities, like physics clubs or quiz competitions, to enhance students’ interest in the subject. Ensuring compliance with school policies on curriculum adherence and assessment standards is mandatory.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in Physics with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required. Two years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in high school or equivalent, is preferred. A TET/CTET certificate is beneficial but not mandatory.
