Responsibilities
Deliver the Science curriculum to Primary (Class I‑V) students, using interactive classroom practices that encourage curiosity and hands‑on learning. Conduct daily lessons, demonstrate simple experiments, and facilitate discussions that link concepts to everyday life. Assess student progress through oral quizzes, worksheets and class activities, providing timely feedback to support improvement. Maintain classroom discipline, prepare lesson plans aligned with the state syllabus, and collaborate with senior staff for continuous curriculum enhancement.
Key Duties
- Prepare and present age‑appropriate Science lessons that stimulate observation and inquiry.
- Engage students in group activities and projects that reinforce theoretical concepts.
- Evaluate learning outcomes regularly and record performance in school registers.
- Communicate student progress and any concerns to parents during meetings or via written reports.
- Participate in school events, science fairs and extra‑curricular activities as required.
Requirements
Graduate degree in any discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English, and a genuine interest in nurturing young learners in Science. Ability to manage a classroom effectively and create a supportive learning environment.
Experience
At least 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a school setting, handling primary Science classes.
Qualifications
Graduate (any stream) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET.
Working Conditions
Teaching duties are conducted within the school premises in Khalwa, Khandwa. The role involves regular interaction with students, parents and fellow teachers, and occasional participation in school functions after regular hours.
