The Shishuvan World School in Malhargarh, Mandsaur, seeks a dedicated Sports Teacher to oversee its growing athletic programs. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing sports activities that align with the school’s vision of holistic child development. You will lead extracurricular sports initiatives, ensuring they remain engaging, safe, and inclusive for students across grades.
Your responsibilities include organizing team sports like football, basketball, and track events, while also supervising individual sports like swimming, gymnastics, and martial arts. You will work closely with coaches, parents, and administrative staff to plan schedules, track progress, and foster a competitive yet positive sports culture. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining equipment inventory is also part of your duties.
This position requires a strong background in sports administration and leadership, with at least two years of relevant experience in school-based athletic programs. A postgraduate degree in physical education or a related field will be preferred, though a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is acceptable. Experience in organizing inter-school competitions and managing sports budgets would be highly beneficial.
You will report directly to the school’s principal, collaborating with the sports committee to refine programs and meet institutional goals. The salary for this role ranges from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month, with opportunities for growth in leadership roles within the school’s athletic department.
