Music Coordinator – New World School | Morena
Location: Morena, Madhya Pradesh
Qualification
A graduate degree in any discipline is essential. Candidates must possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed and have cleared TET/CTET, which is preferred. Two years of relevant experience in managing music programmes or related extracurricular activities is required.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organise and supervise the school’s music curriculum implementation, ensuring alignment with the overall educational objectives. Coordinate with senior leadership to develop schedules, allocate resources and monitor the progress of music initiatives across all grades.
Lead a team of music facilitators, providing guidance on instructional methods, performance standards and assessment criteria. Conduct regular workshops and training sessions to enhance the skills of staff and students in musical activities.
Manage budgeting for musical instruments, equipment and event logistics, negotiating with vendors and overseeing maintenance. Prepare reports on programme outcomes, participation rates and budget utilisation for the school administration.
Act as the primary liaison with external cultural organisations, arranging performances, guest artist visits and collaborative projects that enrich the school’s cultural environment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and school policies during rehearsals, concerts and related events.
Maintain records of student achievements, attendance and feedback, using this data to recommend improvements to the music programme. Foster a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student engagement and showcases musical talent within the school and the wider community.
