What You Will Do
- Develop and manage the Physical Education curriculum for classes 6 to 12
- Conduct regular mentoring sessions for junior staff members and provide guidance on teaching methodologies
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to education
- Organize and execute school sports events, tournaments, and competitions
- Develop and implement policies for the department to ensure the well-being and safety of students
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with the Vice Principal to implement school policies and goals
- Conduct lesson observations and provide constructive feedback to junior staff members
- Develop and manage the Physical Education budget
- Represent the school in local, state, and national-level sports events
Required Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field (M.Sc, M.P.Ed, M.Phil)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience
- Proficiency in Hindi and English languages
- NET or SET qualification is preferred
- Knowledge of local Madhya Pradesh government regulations and policies
