Role Summary
Kvs Public School, a leading institution in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, invites applications for a highly experienced TGT Social Science Teacher to join its faculty as a senior member. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Social Science department and mentoring junior staff to achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas:
* Curriculum ownership: Develop and implement the Social Science curriculum for classes VI to X, ensuring alignment with CBSE guidelines.
* Teaching and mentoring: Teach Social Science to classes VI to X, and mentor junior staff in teaching and learning methodologies.
* Board results: Oversee the improvement of Social Science board results, and develop strategies to enhance student performance.
* Resource development: Develop and update teaching resources, such as textbooks, worksheets, and multimedia aids.
* Staff development: Organize staff development programs, workshops, and training sessions for junior staff on teaching and learning methodologies.
* Community engagement: Collaborate with local community organizations to develop Social Science projects and activities.
* Assessment and evaluation: Develop and administer assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes.
* Data analysis: Analyze student data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address these areas.
* Departmental meetings: Attend and participate in departmental meetings to discuss curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and student performance.
* Report writing: Write regular reports on student performance, curriculum development, and departmental activities.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
* Master's degree in Social Science or a related field from a recognized university.
* B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
* Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Social Science, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior role.
* NET or SET qualification is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Social Science curriculum, teaching methodologies, and assessment techniques.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
