TGT Social Science Teacher – Vedic Kids School, Sabalgarh, Morena
The school is looking for a full‑time TGT Social Science Teacher to join Vedic Kids School in Sabalgarh, Morena, Madhya Pradesh. The role involves delivering the Social Science curriculum to middle and secondary classes, fostering critical thinking and civic awareness among students.
Daily responsibilities
- Conduct engaging Social Science lessons as per the prescribed syllabus, using interactive methods and visual aids.
- Assess student understanding through class participation, quizzes and short assignments, providing immediate feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and daily class records, ensuring all statutory documentation is up to date.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, recess and any school‑organised events, ensuring a safe learning environment.
Regular responsibilities across the academic cycle
- Prepare detailed lesson plans, teaching aids and resource materials on a weekly basis, aligning with state board standards.
- Organise and evaluate periodic tests, project work and presentations, recording marks and comments for each student.
- Conduct remedial sessions for learners who need additional support and collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in faculty meetings, parent‑teacher interactions and school development programmes to discuss student progress and curriculum improvements.
Periodic responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of term‑end examinations, setting question papers and marking schemes in coordination with the academic head.
- Lead or assist in school‑wide events such as cultural festivals, debate competitions and social outreach programmes that enhance community awareness.
- Undertake professional development workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest pedagogical practices.
Qualification and experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Social Science or related discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory; CTET/TET preferred.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at the TGT level in a recognized school.
Salary and location
- Salary: Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000 per month.
- Location: Sabalgarh, Morena, Madhya Pradesh.
