Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with state guidelines for Business Studies at the secondary level.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, including case studies, simulations, and project work, to enhance analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Integrate modern technology such as multimedia tools and business software to illustrate concepts of economics, management, and accounting.
- Coordinate with fellow teachers to plan interdisciplinary units that link Business Studies with mathematics, economics, and social studies.
- Mentor and guide students in preparing for state and national level examinations in Business Studies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in accordance with school policy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed required; TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation
Salary ranging from Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
