Qualifications
A postgraduate degree in Mathematics is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mentoring students are required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, experience in teaching these exams can be beneficial.
Experience
Two years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably at the postgraduate or senior secondary level, is preferred. Experience with modern teaching methodologies and student engagement techniques will be highly valued.
Teaching Responsibilities
Daily classroom instruction for Mathematics students, covering advanced topics like calculus, statistics, and discrete mathematics. Preparation and evaluation of student assignments, projects, and exams. Regular interaction with students to address doubts and encourage critical thinking.
Curriculum Support
Assisting in curriculum development and adapting teaching methods to meet evolving educational standards. Participation in school-wide academic events, including competitions and workshops. Ensuring alignment between classroom learning and national educational policies.
Administrative Duties
Attending departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies and student progress. Assisting in extracurricular activities related to Mathematics, such as science fairs or coding clubs. Maintaining accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Compensation
