Role Summary
World Way Sr. Sec. School invites a Post Graduate Trained Physical Education Teacher to anchor the sports curriculum for grades 9-12. The role involves planning, teaching, and assessing physical activities while ensuring safety and inclusion across cricket, football, athletics, and yoga. You will also coordinate inter-house tournaments that draw students from Gulabganj and nearby villages.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver daily physical education sessions that keep students engaged and active throughout the year.
Organize and supervise inter-house competitions in volleyball, kabaddi, and kho-kho during the academic session.
Maintain inventory of sports equipment and report shortages or damages to the administration promptly.
Conduct fitness assessments twice a year and share progress reports with parents and class teachers.
Train senior students for district-level tournaments and accompany teams to away venues when required.
Collaborate with the yoga instructor to integrate breathing exercises and meditation into the weekly timetable.
Ensure first-aid readiness during PE periods and maintain a stocked medical kit on the field.
Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas to enhance the school’s sports calendar and infrastructure.
Who Can Apply
Candidates holding a postgraduate degree in Physical Education from a recognized university.
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a secondary or senior secondary school.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification mandatory; TET/CTET preferred but not essential.
Preference to applicants familiar with local sports culture in Vidisa district.
Salary and Benefits
Monthly gross salary ranges from Rs.35,000 to Rs.55,000 based on experience and qualifications.
