Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct engaging and interactive NTT Mathematics lessons aligned with CBSE/ICSE syllabus, ensuring conceptual clarity for students.
2. Develop and implement lesson plans incorporating real-world examples, problem-solving techniques, and visual aids tailored to Billabong High International School’s curriculum.
3. Assess students’ understanding through quizzes, projects, and practical demonstrations, providing constructive feedback to reinforce learning.
4. Collaborate with the mathematics faculty to design cross-disciplinary activities that strengthen analytical skills across subjects.
5. Prepare and maintain detailed records of student progress, attendance, and performance to support academic growth.
6. Attend departmental meetings and workshops to stay updated on pedagogical trends and teaching methodologies.
7. Engage with parents through regular communication to discuss student progress and areas needing improvement.
8. Ensure classroom management is orderly, fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
A graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential for this position. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, prior experience in teaching mathematics at the secondary level is highly valued. Candidates with 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting will be preferred. The role demands patience, creativity, and a strong command of mathematical concepts to make abstract ideas tangible for students.
