PGT Accountancy Teacher Position at Iteach Nmmc 91 & 120 in Mumbai

Regular Responsibilities Across the Academic Cycle
Develop and update lesson plans based on the latest syllabus updates and student performance trends. Collaborate with subject coordinators to integrate accountancy concepts into interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities. Participate in departmental meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum improvements, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with school policies on assessment, grading, and student evaluation.
Periodic Responsibilities
Conduct periodic assessments, including quizzes, projects, and exams, to evaluate student comprehension of accountancy principles. Provide constructive feedback to students on assignments and exams to reinforce learning outcomes. Attend workshops or training sessions related to accountancy education to stay updated on pedagogical best practices.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Accountancy or a related commerce discipline. Possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree to qualify for the PGT role. Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in accountancy or commerce at the senior secondary level. Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE syllabi and teaching methodologies is advantageous.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.35,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. This role is based in Mumbai City, Maharashtra, in a vibrant educational setting.
