We are seeking a dedicated PGT Biology Teacher to join B.D. Somani International School in Navi Mumbai. The PGT Biology Teacher will design and implement lesson plans that integrate modern pedagogical techniques, ensuring students grasp complex biological concepts with clarity. Daily classroom instruction will cover topics like cell biology, genetics, ecology, and human physiology, tailored to meet the academic needs of Grade 9 to 12 students. The teacher must also prepare students for board exams, including CBSE and state-level assessments, by offering additional practice sessions and concept reinforcement.
Assessment and evaluation form a significant part of this role. The teacher will conduct regular formative and summative assessments, including quizzes, projects, and practical examinations, to measure student progress. Feedback will be provided both verbally and through written evaluations, ensuring students understand their strengths and areas for improvement. The teacher must also maintain detailed records of student performance to support academic growth.
Collaboration with other faculty members is essential for creating a cohesive educational environment. The PGT Biology Teacher will participate in curriculum development meetings, share innovative teaching strategies, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects that enhance the school’s scientific curriculum.
