Job Title
PGT Physical Education Teacher – Full‑time position at Billong High International School, Mumbai City, Maharastra.

Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons that cater to diverse student abilities, ensuring each session aligns with the school’s overall academic goals. Prepare detailed lesson plans that incorporate skill development, fitness concepts and sportsmanship, and adjust them based on class feedback. Develop assessment tools such as practical skill rubrics, fitness tests and observation logs to evaluate student performance. Maintain systematic records of student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents and senior faculty. Coordinate co‑curricular sports events and collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary projects.
Curriculum Alignment & Planning
Create curriculum‑aligned units that integrate physical health, movement theory and practical sport techniques, without referencing specific board names. Align weekly plans with the school’s broader learning outcomes and ensure continuity across grades. Regularly review and update teaching material to reflect contemporary best practices in physical education.
Assessment & Progress Tracking
Design formative and summative assessments that measure both skill proficiency and fitness levels. Use assessment data to generate progress reports and to identify areas for remedial support. Conduct periodic fitness audits and maintain digital logs for each student, facilitating data‑driven discussions during parent‑teacher meetings.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate qualification in Physical Education or related field (B.Ed / D.El.Ed required). Minimum two years of teaching experience at the PGT level. TET or CTET certification is preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons, assess student outcomes and track progress effectively.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting, with a record of successful lesson planning and student development.
Salary
Rs.35,000 - Rs.70,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
