Billabong High International School | Mulund is seeking a dedicated PGT Psychology Teacher to join their vibrant Mulund campus. Design and deliver PGT Psychology Teaching sessions aligned with the school’s curriculum, ensuring depth in topics like cognitive processes, personality theories, and social psychology. Engage students with interactive lectures, case studies, and discussions to make complex psychological concepts accessible and relatable. Incorporate real-world scenarios, such as classroom management techniques inspired by behavioral psychology, to enhance student engagement.
Collaborate with the school’s counselor team to provide psychological support to students facing academic or personal challenges. Assess student progress through psychological evaluations, ensuring interventions are data-driven and student-centered. Develop and update lesson plans that reflect current psychological research, maintaining a balance between foundational theories and emerging trends.
Participate in school-wide psychological workshops and training sessions to promote mental health awareness among students and staff. Advise on curriculum modifications that align with psychological best practices, such as mindfulness-based activities or stress management techniques. Maintain a professional presence in school events, including parent-teacher interactions, to discuss psychological development and behavioral strategies.
