Pprt Mathematics Teacher Job in Mumbai City, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Akanksha Foundation | Mumbai is seeking a dedicated Pprt Mathematics Teacher to join its vibrant school community in Mumbai City. This role focuses on delivering high-quality mathematics education to primary and pre-primary students, fostering a strong foundation in core subjects.
Responsibilities
Teach mathematics to students in grades Pprt and Pre-Rural Primary (as per curriculum guidelines). Develop engaging lesson plans that align with Akanksha Foundation’s educational philosophy, ensuring conceptual clarity and practical application. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Engage with parents and school staff to share insights on student performance and suggest improvements. Collaborate with other teachers to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities, particularly in STEM-focused activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and participation in school activities.
Ensure classroom environments are organized, safe, and conducive to learning. Participate in school events, including cultural fairs, science exhibitions, and parent-teacher meetings, to promote a holistic development approach. Stay updated on educational trends and curriculum updates to refine teaching strategies continuously.
Qualifications
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree. Possess a graduate degree in mathematics or a related field. Have a passion for simplifying complex mathematical concepts for young learners.
Experience
Proven experience of at least three years in teaching mathematics to primary or pre-primary students. Familiarity with CBSE or state board curriculum standards is a plus. Ability to handle diverse classroom dynamics with patience and enthusiasm.
Salary and Employment
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.25,000 per month. This is a full-time position within Akanksha Foundation | Mumbai’s school network.
