PPRT (Primary Professional Resource Teacher) for EVS at Navy Children School, Mumbai
Navy Children School in Mumbai is seeking a dedicated PPRT for Environmental Studies (EVS) to support classroom instruction and enhance hands-on learning experiences for students. This role focuses on designing engaging, curriculum-aligned activities that blend theory with practical exploration, ensuring young learners grasp environmental concepts through interactive methods. The position is ideal for an experienced educator passionate about fostering curiosity and responsibility in EVS across primary grades.
The PPRT will collaborate closely with EVS teachers to develop project-based lessons, field trips, and classroom experiments that align with school curriculum standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing engaging EVS worksheets, organizing outdoor learning sessions, and assisting in assembling educational kits for students. The role also involves mentoring younger teachers, sharing best practices, and ensuring all EVS activities meet Navy Children School’s high educational standards. Additionally, the PPRT will participate in school events, such as science fairs and environmental awareness campaigns, to promote EVS learning beyond the classroom.
Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in EVS or related subjects. A graduate degree in science, environmental studies, or a related field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior experience in EVS or science education is highly valued. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 25,000.
