Responsibilities
Lead the Special Education Department at Billabong High International School | Mulund, coordinating resources, policies, and support services for students with diverse needs.
Develop and implement individualized support plans, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and school standards.
Collaborate with school leaders to integrate inclusive practices across all programs, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
Supervise and mentor support staff, providing training on intervention techniques and data collection.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, service delivery, and compliance reports.
Act as the primary liaison between parents, external agencies, and the school community, facilitating clear communication and advocacy.
Organize professional development workshops for staff on inclusive education, behavior management, and adaptive technologies.
Contribute to school policy reviews, offering insights on accessibility, curriculum adaptations, and resource allocation.
Ensure timely procurement and maintenance of specialized equipment and materials.
