Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry to students in Class 9 to 12, designing lesson plans that blend theory with practical experiments. Ensure alignment with CBSE syllabus while introducing Euro School’s unique experimental labs and project-based learning. Assess student progress through continuous evaluation, including assignments, quizzes, and lab demonstrations. Collaborate with the Science department to integrate interdisciplinary connections, such as environmental science or chemistry in daily life. Maintain a safe and organized lab space, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry or a related field. Experience in teaching Chemistry to upper secondary students is essential, with at least two years of relevant teaching experience. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, having cleared one of these certifications will be an asset. Strong communication skills in English and Marathi are required to effectively engage students and parents. Familiarity with digital learning tools and educational technology is a plus.
