Daily Teaching Duties
Your primary responsibility will be delivering engaging and structured mathematics lessons across various grades. This involves adapting teaching methods to match students’ learning levels, ensuring concepts like algebra, geometry, and trigonometry are explained clearly. Classroom management is key—balancing group activities, individual assignments, and interactive discussions to keep students engaged.
You will also prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments tailored to the curriculum. This includes creating worksheets, visual aids, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts tangible. Observing students’ progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly is part of your day-to-day work.
Recurring Responsibilities
Every week, you’ll attend faculty meetings to discuss teaching strategies, curriculum updates, and student performance trends. These discussions help refine approaches to ensure consistency and improvement in mathematics education. Additionally, you’ll conduct regular one-on-one or small-group reviews to address student queries and reinforce weak areas.
Maintaining a well-organized classroom is another recurring task. This includes setting up resources, managing student behavior, and ensuring a safe and conducive learning space. Keeping records of student attendance, grades, and participation is also part of your ongoing duties.
Periodic Responsibilities
Throughout the academic year, you’ll participate in school-wide assessments and examinations, including internal tests and board exams. Your role may involve assisting in marking papers, analyzing results, and identifying areas where students need additional support. Periodically, you may also be asked to represent the school at educational forums, workshops, or teacher training sessions.
Beyond the classroom, you’ll collaborate with other subject teachers to align teaching approaches and support interdisciplinary learning. This includes sharing resources, participating in grade-level planning sessions, and contributing to the school’s academic growth initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact students’ understanding and confidence in mathematics.
