The TGT Physical Education Teacher will design and deliver dynamic lessons covering fundamental sports skills, fitness routines, and competitive games. Daily classes will include drills, team sports, and individual activities tailored to students’ ages, ensuring high-energy and inclusive participation. The teacher must organize extracurricular sports events, such as inter-house competitions, to boost school spirit and encourage healthy competition. Coaching younger students in basic techniques while mentoring older students in advanced skills will also be part of the responsibilities.
Billabong High International School values hands-on experience in teaching Physical Education, so candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in schools are preferred. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, along with a strong foundation in sports science and pedagogy. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be an asset. Knowledge of Mumbai’s local sports culture and ability to adapt activities for diverse student backgrounds are highly desirable.
