The role demands a strong grasp of Political Science Teaching Job in Mumbai City, including lesson planning for grades 9-12. You’ll develop interactive modules on topics like federalism, electoral processes, and geopolitical conflicts, ensuring alignment with CBSE syllabus. Field trips to Mumbai’s political institutions, such as the Lok Sabha or municipal councils, will be organized to bring theory to life.
Assessment will include written exams, debates, and case studies on landmark judgments like the Kesavananda Bharati case or the 2020 Citizenship Amendment Act debates. Your ability to critique media narratives on politics and facilitate discussions on social justice movements will be critical.
For this position, a B.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory, with a postgraduate degree in Political Science preferred. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in Political Science or related subjects is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it will be an asset.
