About This Role
The PGT Accountancy Teacher will lead accountancy classes for senior secondary students at Heritage International School in Nagpur City. You will plan daily lessons aligned with CBSE syllabus and assess student progress through regular tests and assignments. The role requires strong subject knowledge and the ability to simplify complex accounting concepts for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
Teach accountancy to classes 11 and 12 using CBSE textbooks and supplementary materials.
Prepare term-wise lesson plans and maintain academic records for each student.
Conduct monthly unit tests and mock examinations for board exam readiness.
Organize practical sessions on accounting software like Tally to build industry skills.
Prepare students for competitive exams like CA-CPT and CS Foundation.
Coordinate with other faculty to plan inter-house commerce competitions.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and provide academic counseling to students.
Participate in school events and contribute to the annual commerce exhibition.
Who Can Apply
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Commerce with Accountancy as a major subject.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in accountancy at senior secondary level.
Experience with CBSE curriculum and board exam paper setting.
Good to Have
CTET qualified candidates will receive preference during selection.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
Prior experience in Heritage International School or similar CBSE schools in Nagpur.
