This PGT Chemistry Teacher Vacancy in Nagpur is open for a post-graduate with three years of senior-secondary teaching experience. The role includes lab supervision, parent interactions, and participation in academic fairs and Olympiads.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver chemistry lessons aligned with NCERT and CBSE guidelines for senior-secondary classes.
Design and conduct weekly lab sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts with practical experiments.
Prepare question banks and sample papers for class 12 board exams and JEE Main practice.
Organize chemistry quizzes, model-making competitions, and science exhibitions every semester.
Monitor student progress through periodic assessments and provide individual feedback.
Coordinate with the science department to integrate digital tools like PhET simulations.
Attend monthly subject-teacher meetings and contribute to curriculum review sessions.
Engage parents during PTMs by explaining student performance trends in chemistry.
Eligibility Criteria
Post-graduate degree in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for teaching senior secondary.
CTET or TET certificate preferred; fresh graduates with strong academic records may also apply.
Three years of teaching experience in chemistry at the higher secondary level.
Familiarity with CBSE exam patterns and lab safety protocols is essential.
