Role Summary
Heritage International School, a premier educational institution in Nagpur City, is seeking a full-time PGT Marathi Teacher to join its faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Marathi to students from Class 9 to Class 12. As a PGT Marathi Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the linguistic skills of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Marathi language and literature to students from Class 9 to Class 12
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations
- Conduct regular classes, workshops, and extracurricular activities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement Marathi language curriculum
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods
- Maintain student records and attendance
- Participate in school events and activities
- Assist in school administration and other assigned tasks
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Post-graduate degree in Marathi or a relevant field
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification
- TET/CTET certification (not mandatory)
Good to Have:
- Teaching experience in a school setting (minimum 3 years)
- Knowledge of Marathi language and literature
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with digital tools and online resources
