Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons for classes 11 and 12 as per CBSE curriculum.
2. Organize school concerts, cultural events, and inter-house music competitions at Heritage International School.
3. Train students for national-level music competitions and examinations.
4. Prepare students for practical and theory exams in Hindustani and Western music streams.
5. Maintain instruments, audio-visual equipment, and music room resources in proper condition.
6. Collaborate with art, dance, and drama teachers to integrate music in school festivals and assemblies.
7. Document student progress through periodic assessments and provide feedback to parents.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Music with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university is essential. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this PGT Music Teacher vacancy in Nagpur. Candidates with CTET or TET certification will be given preference. Three years of teaching experience in a senior secondary school is required. Proficiency in playing at least one instrument (sitar, tabla, keyboard, guitar) and vocal training in classical or light music is necessary.
