Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive physics curricula for classes 9 to 12, ensuring alignment with the state syllabus and national educational standards.
- Develop innovative laboratory experiments and practical sessions that reinforce theoretical concepts and encourage hands‑on learning.
- Prepare assessment materials, including quizzes, assignments, and exam papers, and conduct regular formative and summative evaluations to track student progress.
- Provide individualized support to students who need extra guidance, including remedial classes and tutoring sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary projects that link physics with mathematics and technology.
- Participate in curriculum review meetings, contributing insights on emerging trends in physics education and pedagogical best practices.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, student performance logs, and lesson plans in accordance with school policies.
- Attend professional development workshops and seminars to stay updated on new teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
- Represent the school in external science fairs, competitions, and community outreach programs, showcasing student achievements and fostering local engagement.
- Uphold the school’s values of discipline, respect, and academic excellence in every classroom interaction.
Qualification and experience
A postgraduate degree in Physics or a related field is mandatory. Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification; TET/CTET certification is preferred but not required. A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience at the PGT level is essential. Proven ability to inspire students and manage a dynamic classroom environment is expected. Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.
Salary and location
