The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students from classes VI to X and will contribute to the development of a vibrant Science curriculum at Heritage International School. Day-to-Day Duties
1. Plan, deliver, and assess Science lessons to classes VI to X.
2. Develop and implement Science curriculum to cater to the needs of diverse learners.
3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of student progress.
4. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive Science curriculum.
6. Attend staff meetings and participate in school events.
7. Supervise students during Science experiments and projects.
8. Develop and maintain a safe and conducive Science laboratory environment.
9. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on Science pedagogy and curriculum.
Required Qualifications
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Science (B.Sc with specialization in Science and B.Ed/D.El.Ed)
- Valid TET or CTET certificate (not mandatory)
- 3 years of full-time teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Science curriculum and pedagogy
Good to Have:
- Experience in teaching Science to students from classes VI to X
- Familiarity with curriculum design and implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
