PGT History Teacher Position at Podar School, Nanded
Podar School in Nanded, Kautha is seeking a dedicated PGT History Teacher to join its esteemed faculty. This role involves shaping young minds with a deep understanding of historical concepts, ensuring engaging and relevant curriculum delivery. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in shaping students’ perspectives on India’s rich past while aligning with modern educational standards.
You will design and implement history lessons across grades, ensuring they are both informative and interactive. This includes preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom discussions, and assessing student progress through practical assessments. Collaboration with other teachers and department heads will be essential to maintain consistency in teaching approaches. Additionally, you will participate in school events that highlight historical themes, fostering a deeper appreciation for history among students.
To qualify, a postgraduate degree in History with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, will be highly valued. While TET/CTET certification is not strictly required, it will be an asset. A passion for history and a commitment to nurturing young learners are key traits for this role.
