Role
PGT Physical Education Teacher Job in Nashik, Maharastra is a full‑time teaching position at Navjeevan Education Society. Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging Physical Education programs for grades 6 to 12, ensuring alignment with state education standards.
- Conduct regular physical fitness assessments and maintain accurate student progress records.
- Coordinate and supervise school sports teams, arranging practice schedules and coaching sessions.
- Lead field trips to local sports facilities and manage logistics for school‑wide sports days.
- Collaborate with teachers of other subjects to embed physical activity into classroom learning.
- Mentor and train junior staff and volunteers in coaching techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed with a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Post‑graduate qualification in Physical Education or related field.
- TET/CTET certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Ability to inspire students to maintain healthy lifestyles and participate actively in sports.
- Familiarity with local sports clubs and community resources in Nashik is an advantage.
Compensation
Salary range: Rs.27,000 – Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based increments and professional development opportunities within Navjeevan Education Society.
