In Delhi Public School Nashik, the PRT Dance Teacher works daily with primary and secondary students, blending classical and contemporary styles. The job involves preparing lesson plans, coordinating rehearsals, and managing stage setups for school events. What you will actually do
1. Deliver engaging dance lessons to classes 4–10, focusing on rhythm, posture, and expression.
2. Design and conduct weekly practice sessions for school dance teams.
3. Coordinate choreography for annual day and annual sports meet performances.
4. Maintain dance equipment, costumes, and props.
5. Record and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
6. Collaborate with the arts coordinator to schedule performances and workshops.
7. Mentor junior staff and volunteers during rehearsals.
8. Participate in faculty meetings to align dance curriculum with school objectives.
Who can do this job
Graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed, minimum 2 years of teaching experience. TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory. Proven ability to teach diverse age groups in a school setting.
