Role Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily Hindi classes with clear, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing. Use interactive methods like storytelling, group discussions, and multimedia to make learning enjoyable and effective. Prepare and maintain lesson materials, including worksheets, storybooks, and digital resources, to support classroom instruction.
Assess student progress through regular oral and written evaluations, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Collaborate with the Hindi department to ensure curriculum alignment with school standards and state board guidelines. Organize cultural activities, such as poetry recitals, essay competitions, and festivals like Hindi Diwas, to strengthen students’ connection to the language and its heritage.
Teach basic Hindi grammar rules, including sentence structure, verb conjugations, and common phrases, while encouraging students to apply these skills in real-life scenarios. Work closely with parents and teachers to address individual learning needs, ensuring every student makes progress. Maintain a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated and supported in their language journey.
Eligibility
A graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this PRT Hindi Teacher position. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory. The selected candidate must have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in Hindi or related subjects. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English, along with a passion for nurturing young learners, are essential.
