Responsibilities
Wisdom High International School seeks a PRT Music Teacher to deliver engaging music lessons to students from grades 5 to 10. The role involves designing lesson plans that incorporate rhythm, melody, and basic music theory, while encouraging creative expression through group performances and solo pieces. Daily classroom practice includes warm‑ups, instrument handling, and vocal drills. Students will be assessed through periodic performances, projects, and quizzes, allowing the teacher to adjust instruction to individual learning needs. Interaction with peers and teachers in the school’s collaborative environment will support integrated learning experiences.
Qualifications
A graduate degree is required. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory for teaching positions; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have a strong foundation in music education and a passion for nurturing young talent. Familiarity with local cultural music styles will enhance classroom relevance.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in a school setting is expected. Experience with student‑centered teaching methods, such as ensemble work and improvisation, will be an asset. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics and motivate students to perform confidently is essential.
Salary
Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 per month. The compensation reflects the experience and qualifications of the applicant.
