Podar International School | Dharashiv invites applications for a Hindi teacher to enrich the learning journey of students in Osmanabad. This full‑time NTT position offers a supportive environment for teaching Hindi at the secondary level.
Responsibilities
The teacher will design and deliver engaging Hindi lessons aligned with the state curriculum, ensuring students develop strong reading, writing, and speaking skills. Classroom management, assessment preparation, and timely feedback to students and parents are essential duties. The role includes preparing lesson plans that incorporate local cultural contexts, such as regional folklore and contemporary Hindi literature, to make learning relatable.
The teacher will also collaborate with fellow faculty to integrate interdisciplinary projects, encouraging students to apply Hindi language skills in science, social studies, and arts. Regular participation in school meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions is expected to stay updated with pedagogical trends.
Student support extends beyond academics; the teacher will mentor students in language clubs, debate teams, and literary competitions, fostering confidence and critical thinking. Attendance monitoring, attendance records, and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere are part of daily responsibilities.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree is mandatory, with B.Ed or D.El.Ed preferred for teaching positions. TET or CTET certification is desirable but not compulsory. Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a similar role is required, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse learners and create inclusive lesson plans. The candidate must possess strong command over Hindi grammar, composition, and literature, with a passion for inspiring students.
Salary and Location
