Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of the school’s art and craft curriculum across all grades, ensuring alignment with Billabong High International School | Amanora’s standards. Coordinate with department heads to integrate creative projects into school events and exhibitions. Oversee procurement of materials, maintain inventory records, and manage vendor relationships to keep costs within budget.
Supervise a team of art coordinators and support staff, providing guidance and professional development. Plan and execute workshops for students and parents, promoting community engagement. Monitor program effectiveness through feedback surveys and adjust strategies accordingly. Report progress to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Administration
Handle all administrative tasks related to the art and craft department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with school policies. Maintain detailed documentation of project timelines, budget expenditures, and student participation records. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all hands-on activities.
Leadership
Cultivate a creative culture that encourages innovation and critical thinking among students. Mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment. Represent the school at local art fairs and cultural events, showcasing the talents of students and the quality of the program.
Compensation
