NTT English Teacher Job in Pune, Maharastra | School Recruitment
The reality of this role
Teaching at Delhi Public School Hinjawadi means handling a lively class of 30‑35 students daily, preparing lesson plans that align with the CBSE English syllabus, and managing classroom discipline with a friendly yet firm approach. You will spend time grading essays, providing feedback, and coordinating with co‑teachers for interdisciplinary projects. What you will actually do
- Deliver engaging English language lessons for grades VI to X, covering literature, grammar and communication skills.
- Create and update lesson plans, worksheets and assessment tools in line with curriculum standards.
- Conduct oral and written assessments, maintain records of student progress and report to parents.
- Organize reading clubs, debates and spelling bees to enhance language proficiency.
- Use digital tools such as smart boards and online platforms for interactive learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, curriculum reviews and school events.
- Mentor junior teachers and assist in extra‑tutoring sessions when required.
- Ensure classroom safety and uphold the school’s code of conduct.
Who can do this job
A graduate with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required. Minimum two years of teaching experience in an English medium school is essential. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
