About This Role
We are looking for an experienced PGT Economics Teacher to join the esteemed faculty of Sankalp International School Pune. As a PGT Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Economics to our students, and will play a key role in helping them develop a strong understanding of the subject.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Economics Teacher at Sankalp International School Pune, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Teaching Economics to classes 9 to 12
- Preparing and delivering lesson plans to cater to the needs of students
- Conducting board exam coaching for Economics
- Developing and implementing curriculum for Economics
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to measure student progress
- Providing feedback to students and parents on their performance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participating in school events and activities related to Economics
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Economics syllabus and curriculum
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you should have a postgraduate degree in Economics or a related subject, and a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, and a preference will be given to candidates who have qualified in the TET or CTET. You should have a strong understanding of the Economics curriculum and be able to teach classes 9 to 12.
