Chaitanyas International School
Job Description
The reality of this role

Expect to grade essays, correct grammar exercises, and conduct debates in Hindi every week. The classroom is in Baramati, so local dialects and Marathi-Hindi mix will appear in student speech—you will turn these into teachable moments.
What you will actually do

Prepare question banks and sample papers for Hindi A and Hindi B as per board patterns.
Organize Hindi Kavi Sammelan and story-writing competitions each term to build interest.
Conduct weekly spelling and grammar drills; maintain error logs for each student.
Collaborate with the language department to create cross-subject Hindi projects with history and social science.
Attend morning assemblies to recite poems or news in Hindi twice a week.
Coordinate with the librarian to update Hindi book corner with contemporary titles.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to explain student progress in Hindi.
Who can do this job
Postgraduate in Hindi with a B.Ed degree from a recognized Indian university.
Minimum three years of Hindi teaching experience in grades 9–12.
TET/CTET certificate is not mandatory but preferred.
What you need to bring
Fluency in spoken and written Hindi; familiarity with regional variations helps.
Patience to re-explain grammar rules to students who mix Marathi with Hindi.
Willingness to stay after school for remedial sessions when needed.
Basic Excel skills to enter marks and attendance in the school ERP.
A calm demeanor during exam weeks when students feel pressured.
What you get in return
Monthly salary between Rs.40,000 and Rs.70,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Government teacher-grade allowances, PF contributions, and yearly increments.
School transport facility from Baramati pickup points for teachers.
Free access to in-house Hindi resource library and annual literature fest passes.
How to apply
Send your CV, two writing samples in Hindi, and a one-page note on how you teach grammar creatively to hr@chaitanyas.edu.in.
Shortlisted candidates will receive a call within ten days for a demo lesson and interview at the Baramati campus.
Walk-in enquiries are welcome on working days between 9 AM and 2 PM at the school reception.
