PGT Political Science Teacher Position at Mis International School, Haveli, Pune
Mis International School in Haveli, Pune, invites experienced educators to join as a PGT Political Science Teacher. This role involves shaping young minds with a deep understanding of political theory, governance, and contemporary global issues. The successful candidate will design engaging lesson plans, foster critical thinking, and ensure alignment with the school’s academic curriculum.
The primary responsibilities include teaching Political Science to students in senior classes, conducting interactive sessions, and assessing their understanding through assignments and exams. You will also prepare students for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, or state-level entrance tests where relevant. Regular classroom engagement, parent-teacher interactions, and maintaining a supportive learning environment are essential.
Collaboration with the academic team to integrate political science concepts into broader studies is part of the role. Ensuring high standards of academic excellence while keeping lessons engaging and relevant to modern challenges is key. You will also assist in organizing school events related to civic awareness and public discourse.
A postgraduate degree in Political Science with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of teaching experience in Political Science or a related subject is required. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month. The role is based in Haveli, Pune, and applications are open for this exciting opportunity.
