PRT Dance Teacher Position at Mis International School in Haveli, Pune
Teach fundamental and advanced dance forms to students in Grades 1 to 12 at Mis International School’s Haveli campus. This role focuses on nurturing students’ artistic expression, discipline, and cultural appreciation through structured dance programs. You’ll develop age-appropriate curricula while ensuring alignment with school’s holistic learning philosophy.
Plan and conduct daily dance classes, covering ballet, contemporary, folk, and classical styles. Incorporate movement-based learning to enhance physical coordination and confidence. Assess students’ progress through practical evaluations, feedback sessions, and participation in school events.
Hold yourself accountable for maintaining high standards in classroom management, safety protocols, and maintaining a respectful learning environment. Collaborate with the school’s arts coordinator to integrate dance into interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
Hold a graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of three years of teaching experience in dance or related arts. Prior experience in schools or dance studios is essential. A TET/CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
Prepare lesson plans that balance technical skill development with creative exploration. Use age-appropriate props, music, and visual aids to enhance engagement. Ensure all students, regardless of skill level, feel included and motivated.
