What is this role
The Academy School in Pune is hiring a full‑time TGT Hindi Teacher for its Haveli campus in Maharastra. The position involves teaching Hindi to secondary students as part of the school’s core academic programme.
What will I actually do
You will plan and deliver Hindi lessons for classes IX and X, covering literature, grammar, composition and spoken language. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans aligned with the board syllabus, conducting assessments, providing feedback, and organising extra‑curricular activities such as debates, poetry recitals and cultural events that promote Hindi proficiency. You will also maintain class records, collaborate with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and support students in remedial sessions when required.
What do I need to qualify
A postgraduate degree in Hindi or a related discipline is essential. Candidates must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is considered an advantage. A valid teaching licence as per state regulations is required.
What experience is expected
The school prefers candidates with at least four years of teaching experience in a recognised school setting, preferably handling the Hindi curriculum for secondary classes. Experience in using digital tools for classroom instruction and conducting co‑curricular Hindi activities will be valued.

The remuneration for this role is between Rs.25,000 and Rs.35,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
