TGT Social Science Teacher Job in Pune, Maharastra | School Recruitment
Post‑Graduate with 4 years of teaching experience in Social Science.
A master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science or a related field equips the teacher to design curriculum that aligns with state standards and encourages critical thinking among students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science for classes 6 to 10, ensuring concepts are understood and applied.
- Integrate technology and visual aids to make lessons interactive and accessible to diverse learners.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, projects and class participation, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that link Social Science with other subjects.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and report student performance to the principal and parents.
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development workshops to stay current with pedagogical trends.
Salary: Rs.25,000 – Rs.35,000 per month
