Role Summary
Bbrt International School, a renowned educational institution in Kalyan, Thane, Maharastra, is seeking an experienced PRT Dance Teacher to join our team. As a PRT Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality dance education to our students.
How You Will Teach
You will employ practical methods, utilizing dance equipment and props to engage students in active learning experiences. Our dance classes are designed to foster creativity, physical awareness, and an appreciation for different dance styles. You will work closely with the dance department to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver dance lessons to students of various age groups, adapting your teaching methods to suit different learning levels.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive dance studio environment, adhering to Bbrt International School's health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with fellow dance teachers to create engaging dance performances and events for the school community.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their dance skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest dance teaching methodologies, best practices, and curriculum developments.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining dance equipment, ordering supplies, and managing the dance studio.
- Participate in school events, such as dance festivals, concerts, and cultural programs, to promote dance education and showcase student talent.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must hold a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in Dance or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed TET or CTET.
