The reality of this role
At Holy Cross English High School, the day starts with preparing a concise Hindi lesson plan for classes 6 to 8. You will conduct interactive sessions, monitor student progress, and provide feedback in real time. The work is hands‑on, with a focus on making Hindi relatable to local students in Kalyan.
What you will actually do
1. Design and deliver daily Hindi lessons for grades 6‑8.
2. Use story‑telling and local examples to enhance comprehension.
3. Assess student performance through quizzes and oral tests.
4. Maintain attendance records and report attendance to administration.
5. Coordinate with co‑ordinators for school events that involve Hindi.
6. Mentor junior teachers during their probation period.
7. Update classroom materials and keep the syllabus aligned with state standards.
8. Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to curriculum reviews.
Who can do this job
A graduate with at least 2 years of teaching experience. B.Ed or D.El.Ed is required; TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory.
