Job Description
Euro School in Thane is looking for a full‑time TGT Marathi Teacher to join its faculty. The role involves delivering Marathi curriculum to secondary classes, fostering language proficiency and cultural appreciation among students in Thane, Maharastra.
Professional Scope
The teacher will plan and conduct Marathi lessons in line with the state syllabus, adapt teaching methods to diverse learning abilities, and contribute to the overall academic environment of the school. Collaboration with fellow teachers for interdisciplinary projects and participation in school events are expected.
Key Responsibilities
Designing lesson plans, preparing teaching aids, and assessing student progress through tests, assignments and oral evaluations form the core duties. Maintaining accurate records, providing timely feedback, and communicating with parents about student performance are integral parts of the role.
Subject‑Specific Duties
Focus on developing reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in Marathi, incorporating literature, poetry and contemporary texts. Encourage critical thinking and creative expression through debates, dramatizations and cultural activities related to Marathi heritage.

Euro School expects the teacher to uphold its standards of discipline, punctuality and continuous professional development. Participation in staff meetings, workshops and extra‑curricular activities, as well as adherence to the school’s code of conduct, are mandatory.
Qualification and Experience
Candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in Marathi or a related field along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the TGT level is required. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, it is considered an advantage.
Salary
The remuneration for this position ranges from Rs.24,000 to Rs.50,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
