We are seeking an experienced TGT Science Teacher to join our faculty at P.s.s.j Higher Secondary School in Banarpal, Angul, Odisha. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to students from Class IX to XII. 3. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
4. Develop and administer Science-related projects, experiments, and activities.
5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement Science-related events and activities.
7. Provide guidance and support to students outside of regular class hours.
8. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
9. Stay updated with the latest developments in Science education and apply this knowledge in the classroom.
Who Can Apply
Must Have:
- Postgraduate degree in Science or a related field (e.g., M.Sc., M.A. with B.Ed/D.El.Ed)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Valid TET/CTET certification (not essential but preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good to Have:
- Experience teaching Science in a school setting
- Familiarity with the Odisha Board of Secondary Education curriculum
- Knowledge of Science-related software and technology
- Ability to work with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with school management information systems (e.g., ERPM)
