Hindi (NTT) Vacancy in Cuttack, Odisha
St. Xavier School
Job Description
About This Role
St. Xavier School integrates smart boards, Google Classroom, and a school-wide LMS to make Hindi learning interactive and engaging. As the NTT Hindi Teacher, you will deliver the NTT curriculum while using these modern tools to reinforce language skills. Your role bridges traditional Hindi pedagogy with today’s digital classroom practices.
Pedagogy and Tools
Hindi lessons at St. Xavier School go beyond textbooks through blended learning sessions that combine smart board demonstrations, audio-visual clips, and real-time quizzes. The school uses Google Classroom for assignment distribution and parent-teacher communication in Hindi. Teachers maintain an LMS repository of worksheets, storytelling videos, and pronunciation drills for students from Nursery to Class V.
Day-to-Day Duties
Create weekly Google Classroom posts with Hindi poems, stories, and grammar exercises aligned to the NTT syllabus. Conduct live interactive sessions on smart boards where students practice writing Devanagari letters and compose simple sentences. Grade digital assignments submitted via LMS and provide audio feedback in Hindi to improve listening and speaking.
Monitor student participation in online Hindi clubs and storytelling competitions hosted on the school’s YouTube channel. Prepare digital flashcards for vocabulary building and share them with parents through WhatsApp groups. Organize bi-weekly blended learning days where half the class learns through tablets while the other half uses textbooks under your guidance.
Use assessment tools in the LMS to track Hindi reading, writing, and comprehension progress for each child. Collaborate with the IT coordinator to troubleshoot basic smart board or Google Classroom issues during lessons. Attend monthly teacher training webinars focused on innovative Hindi teaching techniques.
Who Can Apply
Graduates with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree and at least two years of Hindi teaching experience in early childhood or primary classes are eligible. Candidates familiar with Google Classroom, smart boards, and basic LMS navigation will be preferred. Prior exposure to creating Hindi digital content for young learners is an advantage.
What Makes You a Fit
Your comfort with digital tools—smart boards, Google Classroom, and online assessment platforms—will help you deliver Hindi lessons more effectively. Experience using Hindi typing software, recording pronunciation videos, and designing interactive worksheets will set you apart. Ability to explain technology use to young learners and parents in simple Hindi is essential.
What You Get
The monthly salary for this full-time NTT Hindi Teacher position at St. Xavier School ranges from Rs.15,500 to Rs.25,000. The package includes health coverage for the teacher and contributes to the school’s provident fund scheme. Professional development support for digital pedagogy is provided through in-house training and resource access.
