About This Role
We seek an experienced and passionate TGT Sanskrit Teacher to join our team at St. Xavier School in Cuttack, Odisha. As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Sanskrit to students from class 6 to 8. You will also be required to prepare lesson plans, assess student progress, and participate in school activities.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Teach Sanskrit to students from class 6 to 8
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans to meet the curricular requirements
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes and assignments
- Participate in school activities such as language festivals and cultural events
- Maintain a tidy and organized classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Encourage student participation and engagement in the classroom
- Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to improve student outcomes
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular progress reports
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Post-graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree
- 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Sanskrit language and literature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
