Day-to-Day Duties
Prepare breakfast, lunch, and snacks as per the school menu approved by the administration.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining area, and food storage spaces.
Store raw materials and cooked food properly to prevent spoilage or contamination.
Monitor daily food consumption and report shortages or excesses to the school office.
Follow nutritional guidelines set by the government for mid-day meal schemes.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues immediately.
Assist in weighing and distributing meals to students under the supervision of the school authorities.
Keep accurate records of food purchases, usage, and wastage for audit purposes.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have: Diploma in Hotel Management/Catering Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution. Minimum 1 year of experience in a school or institutional kitchen.
Good to Have: Prior experience in mid-day meal preparation or large-scale catering. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
