About This Role
Aakash Vidya Higher Secondary School in Dhenkanal Sadar, Dhenkanal, Odisha is seeking a diligent Hostel Warden to oversee the day-to-day operations of our school hostel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and discipline of boarders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise and guide the hostel staff in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and discipline within the hostel premises.
2. Ensure the safety and security of boarders, handling any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
3. Maintain accurate records of boarders' attendance, fees, and other important documents.
4. Assist in the preparation of meals and ensure that boarders are served nutritious food.
5. Establish and maintain a sense of community among boarders, promoting their overall development.
6. Monitor and control the use of school resources, such as internet, TV, and other facilities.
7. Coordinate with the school administration to resolve any hostel-related issues.
Who Can Apply
The successful candidate should possess a diploma in any field and have at least one year of experience in a similar role. Although TET/CTET is not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with these qualifications. Proficiency in computer applications is essential for this role.
